Farmington Rec Soccer - Winter Session
2nd and 3rd Grade
Available spots
Service Description
In this 10-week indoor rec soccer program Farmington students will learn technical skills to help build a foundation of successful soccer! They will learn their first skill moves, correct dribbling, and proper passing and shooting techniques through activities and games. Sessions will be 45 minutes long, focused on player learning, and will have no more than 24 kids in a class, 12 from each grade. We believe in the Play-Practice-Play model for this age group, meaning we have them play when they first arrive, practice skills and techniques in the middle, and end with a game or scrimmage at the end. Our goal is to create players that love the ball and enjoy it at their feet. We offer 2 programming options: 1. You sign up for the whole program. This is obviously the most valuable way to participate in the program and as long as you know when you sign up you can attend the majority of sessions it's the way to go! 2. Pick 6. We understand that people have plans around Spring Break and so we want to offer the chance to register for the program without feeling tied to sessions you can't attend.
